A long time ago in a forest, lived a little mouse in a hole inside a cave. In the same cave lived a big ferocious lion. One day while the lion was asleep the little mouse ran over him. The lion woke up disturbed from his sleep. He growled, "How dare you disturb my sleep! I will kill you."
The mouse squeaked, "Oh! Please don't kill me, I will be grateful to you and will help you when ever you need help." The lion laughed loudly, "Why would the king of the jungle need help from a tiny mouse?" He said, "But I will let you go because you made me laugh."
The next day, the lion was trapped in a hunter's net. The lion roarded and tried to escape. But the more he tried, the more he got tangled up. The little mouse heard the lion roar. He ran up to the lion and said, "Don't worry O Lion, I will help you." The mouse tore open the net with his sharp little teeth and set the lion free.
The lesson from the story is: "Even small friends can do big helps. Be kind to everyone, because you never know when you might need a friend, big or small!"
